Megan Gray

Senior Ecologist

Megan has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology from Curtin University.  Specifically, her industry experience is predominantly in ecological assessments and monitoring programs.  She is a competent botanist, with significant field, data analysis and reporting experience, as well as experience conducting fauna surveys.  Megan’s field experience spans the Swan Coastal Plain, Pilbara, Kimberley, Wheatbelt, Yilgarn, Murchison, Goldfields, Mid-West and Little Sandy Desert, and she has proven abilities in leading field teams.  She is familiar with the methodologies utilised for biological surveys and reporting in accordance with current EPA guidance, in assessing impacts in reference to relevant guidelines and has led authorship of multiple technical reports.  Megan also has sound capabilities in study and survey planning, botanical taxonomy, data management, floristic and statistical analysis, spatial data analysis, cartography and technical reporting.  Megan is particularly skilled in the use of GIS and in gathering a large range of data for desktop assessments.  Her holistic ecological knowledge and ability to efficiently transpose large amounts of data into written report material adds significant value to environmental consulting documentation, including ecological assessments and complex environmental impact assessment or management planning.  Megan is a pragmatic scientist, skilled critical-thinker, and has proven many times to be able to arrive at excellent solutions for both projects and the environment across a range of environmental scopes of work.
