Team

Taryn is an ecologist with a speciality in botany and more than five years of consulting experience.  She has a track record conducting botanical assessments and monitoring across the Swan Coastal Plain and further afield in the South-West, as well as in the Pilbara, Murchison, Goldfields, Wheatbelt and Mid-West regions.  Taryn has well-developed skills in floral recognition in the field, having worked in a seed collecting team for more than a decade. Including in a supervisory role for most of this time.  In more recent years, Taryn’s responsibilities shifted to processing, managing and reporting on collected data from both desktop and field assessments.  In addition to her specialist botanical knowledge, Taryn has supported a number of fauna surveys including trapping programs and she has a strong foundation understanding of the methodologies of such surveys and in fauna identification, particularly on the Swan Coastal Plan.  An adaptable professional, Taryn is a solutions-focused consultant who strives for high-quality outputs in all her project work.
