Aish has completed studies and qualifications in a Masters of Environmental Science and a Bachelor of Science in Botany. She is a motivated environmental scientist and specialist ecologist with a particular passion for botany. Aish is experienced in all aspects of environmental consulting, from desktop assessments, field planning, and conducting field assessments in remote and harsh environments; to data processing, including flora identification and GIS, and technical reporting. Her specific project experience includes detailed flora and vegetation surveys for environmental impact assessments, weed mapping, vegetation and weed monitoring, fauna surveys, Black-Cockatoo habitat assessments and archaeological surveys for Aboriginal heritage assessments. Aish’s field experience has been predominantly in the regions of the Pilbara, Goldfields, Avon Wheatbelt and Swan Coastal Plain. Aish has an interest in flora identifications and through assisting FVC’s botanical taxonomists, is developing in this important capability.
